Communication and Data Freelancer (Temporary)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Communication and Data Freelancer to support the Strategy and Partner Relations Office in the development of the Annual Report. This role is critical in transforming internal data, insights, and achievements into clear, compelling, and visually engaging presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is reliable, highly organized, and experienced in building polished, professional presentation materials while adhering to established templates, workflows, and brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Annual Report Slide Development (Core Responsibility)

  • Populate, update, and refine presentation slides using existing annual report structures, templates, and style guides.
  • Ensure content clearly communicates the impact narrative of each chapter and aligns with the overall annual report storyline.
  • Integrate validated data, achievements, and stakeholder inputs with accuracy and consistency.

Impact Storytelling

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand initiatives and outcomes.
  • Extract key achievements and translate them into concise, compelling, and impactful narratives.

Data Analysis and Visualization

  • Perform basic data cleaning and verification, including checking calculations, consistency, and data sources.
  • Convert data into clear and visually engaging charts, graphs, tables, and narratives within approved slide templates.

Quality Assurance

  • Review all materials to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and editorial standards.
  • Ensure presentations are error-free, grammatically accurate, and visually consistent.

Project Management and Organization

  • Manage multiple slide development tasks simultaneously while meeting all deadlines.
  • Maintain well-organized files and documentation for easy retrieval and review.

Internal Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect inputs and translate complex information into presentation-ready content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background or experience in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Prior experience contributing to annual reports, strategic reports, or executive-level presentations.
  • Experience working with multi-stakeholder environments or large organizations.

Salary and Benefits:

· This role involves working about 10 hours per week and will last about 3 to 4 months. The individual will spend around 120 to 160 hours on the assignment.

· The fees for this role will be between 15-18k AED for the entire duration of the contract.

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per year
