Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager with strong expertise in business communications within the shipping, marine, and logistics sector. The role involves developing, executing, and measuring communication strategies that align with business growth priorities at both global and regional levels. The position requires strong stakeholder management skills, collaboration with internal and external teams, and the ability to drive communications initiatives that strengthen customer engagement and industry positioning.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic narratives, managing digital and offline communication channels, and ensuring alignment with corporate brand positioning while delivering measurable impact on business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated communication strategies tailored to business objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Serve as a communications advisor to business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Manage communications campaigns that enhance customer preference and business growth.
  • Oversee website, social media, newsletters, and content calendar management.
  • Lead agency/vendor management for cost-effective communication delivery.
  • Support industry event participation and ensure alignment with global events strategy.
  • Develop narratives, messaging, and high-quality content for multiple platforms.
  • Provide project management oversight to ensure timely, high-quality outputs.
  • Track, monitor, and report communications performance against KPIs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional communication teams for alignment and reach.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in communications/marketing, preferably in a global organization.
  • Proven track record in managing strategic integrated communications programs.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders on communications strategies.
  • Proficiency in digital and social media communication.
  • Strong awareness of global economic and industry-related issues.
  • Confident communicator and presenter with influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the maritime/shipping/logistics sector.
  • Familiarity with B2B communications and event management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple projects.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with strong problem-solving ability
