Job Description:

Blue Water Thinking is seeking a Communications Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) program as an End-User Engagement and Adoption (EUEA) Communications Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and ensures 508 compliance for all EUEA-produced materials and communications including all outward facing dashboards, websites, and other materials.
  • Collaborates with the CM and training teams to ensure 508 compliance is part of strategies and plans as appropriate.
  • Ensures items are proactively tracked and managed and issues are identified and escalated early.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional work experience
  • Must have experience in creating, applying and maintaining tools to track program, project, or task performance data, including cost, schedule, and performance data.
  • Must have experience in the creation of routine and ad hoc reports.
  • Must be able to provide oral and written discussion of analytical findings using narrative and graphic forms.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the VA
  • Experience implementing electronic health records

Eligibility:

  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this role

Compensation:

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the candidate's specific combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Salary range: $55,000 - $70,000
