Boise Centre, Idaho’s premier convention center, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to help shape how we tell our story! In this role, you’ll collaborate with the Marketing team to promote Boise Centre’s events, services, and brand through engaging written, visual, and digital content. Create and schedule social media content that promotes events, services, and brand awareness.

Write and edit marketing and communication materials such as website content, newsletters, e-blasts, articles, and blog posts.

Develop and update visual content including graphics, photos, and short videos for Boise Centre’s digital and print platforms.

Support photography and videography projects, coordinating with vendors and capturing event images as needed.

Manage and organize the digital image and video library, ensuring media is properly formatted for use across platforms.

Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute Boise Centre’s annual marketing and communications plan.

Assist with public relations efforts, including media coordination and brand representation.

What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field — or a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
Skills & Abilities

Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and engagement strategies.

Experience with photography, video editing, and preparing media for digital and print use.

Proficiency with content management and design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).

Exceptional writing, proofreading, and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and customer service skills.
