Position Overview

GP Agency is seeking a detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to support internal and external communication efforts across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that messaging is clear, timely, compliant, and aligned with our brand and operational standards. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing communication across multiple stakeholders and teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal communications, including team updates, announcements, and initiatives
• Review and organize outbound messaging (email, web, print, social) for clarity, consistency, and compliance
• Serve as a point of review for marketing materials, ensuring brand alignment and legal/regulatory accuracy
• Liaise with compliance personnel to validate messaging prior to distribution when necessary
• Maintain communication calendars, content templates, and version control
• Support the leadership team with communication planning and follow-up across projects
• Monitor and manage feedback loops to continuously improve clarity and effectiveness of communications

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, compliance review, or related fields
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Familiarity with regulatory and brand compliance, preferably in financial services or insurance
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency with common communication and document management tools (Google Workspace, Slack, CRM, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Attributes

• Familiarity with SEC/FINRA/insurance marketing compliance is a plus
• Experience working with distributed teams or in a platform-based business model
• High attention to detail and ability to operate independently with minimal oversight

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Pay: $46,972.82 - $56,569.43 per year
