Communications Intern, Strategy & Operations

The McKinsey Reach & Engagement internship is a 10-week paid program that runs from June to August and offers students the opportunity to work with a team of world-class communications and marketing professionals.

As part of the central operations team within the Reach & Engagement function, you will support the effective day-to-day running of the function while contributing to strategic and operational initiatives. This includes partnering with team members to enhance processes, improve coordination, and drive projects that strengthen how the function delivers impact across the firm.

During the internship, you will work on a range of strategy and operations–related projects, which may include process improvement, planning support, performance tracking, and cross-functional coordination. Through this work, you will gain exposure to how a global communications function operates and help enable the team to deliver high-quality outcomes across publishing, engagement, and communications efforts.

This internship provides valuable experience and skill-building opportunities in strategy, operations, marketing, and communications within a global professional services environment.

You will join a group of professionals within the firm’s Reach & Engagement function, specifically within the central operations team. These colleagues help ensure the function runs effectively and efficiently, enabling insights to reach designated audiences and strengthening engagement with McKinsey’s distinctive knowledge.
