Position Overview
Navistar Financial Corporation has a great opportunity for a Communications Lead onsite at our corporate headquarters in Lisle, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Develops and executes integrated marketing and communications strategies that support organizational goals, brand positioning, and business priorities.
- Maintains brand consistency across all internal and external communications, ensuring messaging aligns with company values and visual identity guidelines.
- Analyzes market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to inform communications and marketing plans.
- Collaborates with International marketing team to support brand storytelling through articles, blogs, social posts and website content
- Collaborates with sales, operations and credit, to draft and manage dealer-facing (micro and macro) programs and related documents
- Supports senior management to develop and edit presentation material that is used for national-level meetings
- Owns formats designed to gain dealer feedback including developing launching the tool and facilitating feedback loops.
- Owns recurring meetings designed to gather employee feedback
- Manages communication calendars, timelines, and project deliverables.
- Tracks communication performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement
- Assist with crisis communication planning and execution.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 9 years of communications experience

Desired Skills
- Demonstrated effectiveness in various communications formats e.g. Social Media applications, Website based, internal and external constituencies.
- Communications experience, preferably in corporate communications
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong storytelling ability and knowledge of content best practices.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling messages.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional project management skills, including leading design and development processes, delivering projects on time and within budget, and managing multiple priorities with agility.
- Track record of creating and executing strategic communications programs aligned with business goals that achieve measurable results.
- Strategic and innovative thinker capable of spotting emerging trends and driving projects from concept to completion.
- Strong collaborator able to partner effectively with senior leadership, teams, and agency partners, demonstrating a positive, client-focused attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite; SharePoint experience
