Meet Our Team:

The India Site MD's office is at the heart of Pega's operations in India, driving strategic initiatives and fostering excellence across our practice. As the backbone of Pega's global presence in India, our team manages and coordinates initiatives and operations that impact thousands of talented professionals across our Hyderabad and Bangalore offices.

The team within the India Site MD's office orchestrates the seamless functioning of Pega's largest international hub. We drive strategic communications, manage critical reporting including QBRs, oversee budgetary responsibilities, and coordinate organization-wide events that strengthen our corporate culture. Our team plays a crucial role in building and nurturing direct relationships with clients, partners, and the broader Pega Developer ecosystem, contributing significantly to Pega's growth and success in the region.

The team also is at the helm of driving strategic initiatives and operations for the Platform Engineering practice in India as the India Site MD also directly heads the India Platform Engineering org.

What You'll Do at Pega:

Communications Support

  • Contribute and maintain internal comms calendar
  • Draft key comms from India MD’s desk (e.g., awards, announcements, emergencies, exec visits, townhalls, etc.)
  • Pega India PR strategy in collaboration with PR vendor
    • Crafting the PR strategy for Pega India
    • Representing Pega at industry events, podcasts, etc.
    • Press releases on key announcements / achievements
    • Social media strategy for key leader(s)
  • Maintain the internal Pega India portal with leadership, news, activities, policies, etc.
  • Execute industry branding opportunities (college / industry event sponsorships, hackathons, social media partnerships, etc.)
  • Design Pega branding complying with guidelines in collaboration with Marketing
  • Partner with other teams on the execution of key internal and external events

Operational Support

  • Support in planning and managing CXO visits to India – agenda prep, logistics, collaboration with meeting owners
  • Support in content creation and collation for India and global leaders including QBRs
  • Operational management of budgets in collaboration with the Finance team
  • Support in project managing initiatives and other ad hoc activities driven by the MD Office
  • Support in orchestration of leadership forums taking notes, drafting MOMs, following up on action items

Who You Are:

  • A highly motivated and organized communications professional with 10+ years of experience and strong interpersonal skills.
  • You are focused on continuous improvement of yourself and your surroundings.
  • You are willing to challenge the status quo, share ideas, act on initiatives, and navigate conflicts in the interest of building a common understanding in an open, healthy work environment.
  • You have a track record of proposed and implemented changes – examples of successes and failures that resulted in lessons.
  • You can influence others and get things done, even when you have no direct line of authority over them.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What You've Accomplished:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of PR and media relations.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
