VIPAR Heavy Duty is seeking a results-driven Communications & Marketing Specialist with strong writing skills and high energy to join our team in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities.
The Communications & Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Director of Marketing and internal stakeholders to develop and execute corporate communications across multiple brands.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, develop, and execute corporate communications, including newsletters, network updates, program information, and other messaging for internal and external audiences across multiple brands
- Create, translate, and manage content in English and Spanish, ensuring culturally relevant and effective messaging for diverse audiences
- Manage and update website and portal content across corporate brands
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging aligns with brand voice, tone, and strategic objectives
- Support Marketing, Program Management, and Business Development initiatives
- Work with supplier partners and distributors to promote key brands and support project initiatives
- Manage communication projects and schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Professional bilingual proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) in English and Spanish
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong grammar, editing, and proofreading abilities
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Express, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience in the commercial vehicle or automotive industry

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
