We're looking for a driven and versatile Content & Communications Specialist to join our team and take ownership of our communication landscape. You'll be the voice of our brand, crafting compelling content across various channels, from engaging social media posts to insightful white papers.

In this role, you'll be responsible for collaborating with our engineering and operation teams in the following areas:

Content Creation:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy across channels (blogs, social media, website, press releases, etc.)
  • Assist in writing high-quality, engaging content for various audiences, including blog posts, articles, white papers, technical documents, and social media captions
  • Conducting thorough research and staying up-to-date on industry trends to inform content creation
  • Optimizing content for search engines (SEO) and social media reach
  • Create and edit short-form videos
  • Develop new strategies for increasing customer engagement.
  • Generate product awareness and positive product impressions to increase customer interest and participation

Social Media Management:

  • Developing and implementing a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Creating and scheduling engaging social media posts and video content across various (Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
  • Monitoring and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyzing social media performance and reporting on key metrics

Blogging & White Papers:

  • Brainstorming and developing blog post topics that align with overall content strategy
  • Writing informative and engaging blog posts that captivate audiences and drive traffic
  • Contributing to the development of white papers and other technical documents
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and credibility

Communications Support:

  • Assisting with internal and external communication initiatives, including press releases, media relations, email, digital marketing, and employee communication
  • Proofreading and editing all written content to ensure quality and consistency with brand voice
  • Staying organized and adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or a related field (strongly preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience writing and editing content for digital platforms
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing content strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong social media management skills with experience in major platforms
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Passion for your area of expertise and a desire to learn

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with technical writing and white paper development
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices
  • Understanding of the Roll-Threading and/or Manufacturing industry a plus
  • Proficiency in content management systems and social media analytics tools
