Your Role:
As Community Engagement Director, you will take the lead in building strong client relationships and driving meaningful outreach initiatives across Texas. Partnering closely with the VP of Business Development, as well as the local/regional business development and operations staff, you will shape and execute a strategic community engagement plan that strengthens Tetra Tech’s presence in Houston and throughout the state.
Lead outreach efforts to enhance visibility and foster lasting partnerships with clients and community stakeholders.
Serve as Client Manager for regional county projects, ensuring consistent communication and relationship growth.
Plan and track engagement activities, including community events, conferences, and meetings, positioning Tetra Tech for ongoing pursuits.
Manage and monitor an annual engagement budget, developed collaboratively with the VP of Business Development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, or related field (Master’s preferred).
15+ years of experience in the municipal engineering sector with a focus on client engagement and relationship-building.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling client presentations and prepare clear, persuasive reports.
Demonstrated success in securing and executing profitable client assignments and developing key accounts.
Proven collaborator with the ability to partner across disciplines and deliver innovative, client-focused solutions.
