About the Role
The Landings Association is seeking an innovative and dynamic Community Engagement Director to design and lead programs, events, and digital initiatives that build trust, transparency, and connection among residents. This role drives engagement through social media, email campaigns, multimedia content, and creative outreach—strengthening the relationship between residents and their Association.

The position reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with the Communications Director to ensure that community messaging both informs and inspires, aligning communication and engagement strategies across all platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy that supports The Landings’ mission and Strategic Plan.
  • Partner with the Communications Director to align messaging and reach all segments of the community.
  • Create and manage compelling social media, video, and digital content that promotes transparency and showcases Association initiatives.
  • Plan and execute resident events, town halls, and staff meet-ups that encourage open dialogue and participation.
  • Use analytics and A.I. tools to measure engagement, personalize outreach, and enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for the Association, modeling professionalism and responsiveness in all community interactions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or community engagement.
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms and digital campaigns.
  • Strong skills in event planning, content creation, and public outreach.
  • Proficiency with modern communication tools and emerging A.I. technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and project management skills.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements


This position works primarily in an office setting but includes frequent community interaction and occasional fieldwork at outdoor events, meetings, and programs. The role requires:

  • Regular standing, walking, and use of computers and digital equipment.
  • Occasional lifting of materials up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during events.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work to support community activities or emergency response needs
