Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive On-Site Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, customer service, and conflict resolution. This role requires an individual who can effectively manage resident relations, ensure compliance with housing regulations, and maintain the overall quality of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintaining the grounds and amenities, and resident relations.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
  • Utilize property management software such as MRI and Avid for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met.
  • Handle resident inquiries and resolve conflicts in a timely manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Prepare and manage contracts related to leasing agreements and vendor services.
  • Implement sales strategies to enhance occupancy rates through effective upselling techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, maintenance requests, and administrative tasks using CMMS systems.
  • Collaborate with facilities management to coordinate repairs and upkeep of the property.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Section 8 housing is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Excellent conflict management skills with a focus on negotiation and resolution strategies.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette.
  • Previous experience in sales or upselling within a real estate context is advantageous.
