Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the Leasing and Marketing Manager to develop the Marketing Plan and sales strategies to achieve occupancy goals.
  • Build rapport with internal and external customers to maintain positive relationships.
  • Interact with residents with the highest level of customer service and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Walk units, prepare final accounts, and execute statements.
  • Handle resident concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Complete all daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Controls delinquency, collections, and expenditures.
  • Monitors monthly operating statements and ensures adherence to the budget.
  • Oversee leasing duties.

Required Skills/Abilities

A proactive self-starter who possesses exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills, both oral and written.
Must be able to exercise sound judgment, prioritize tasks to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, exhibit a high degree of flexibility

Professional Requirements:

At least five years of multifamily experience is required.
At least three years of direct management experience is required.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
CAM or CAPS preferred.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Knowledge of the principles of management and supervision.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including motivating and leading a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Exposure to property management software. Experience with OneSite and Teams is a plus.
Yardi experience is preferred
Ability to review, understand, and report financial information.
A comprehensive understanding of marketing techniques and budgeting.
Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, standing and walking, giving tours, and meeting potential clients.
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to traverse a variety of properties with stairs and in a variety of weather.
