Community Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Community Manager to lead our residential/student housing communities with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain the property’s overall excellence. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment for residents while managing administrative tasks, leasing activities, and property maintenance. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about creating vibrant living spaces that residents love to call home.

Duties

  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, renewals, and resident relations to maximize occupancy and satisfaction.
  • Oversee property maintenance and facilities management to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations.
  • Handle leasing processes using property management software such as Buildium, including data entry, filing, and contract management.
  • Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and requirements, and other legal standards.
  • Conduct tenant screenings, and prepare legal documents while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Resolve conflicts efficiently through effective conflict management strategies and uphold excellent customer service standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors for property repairs and maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions, inspections, and correspondence in compliance with legal administrative practices.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents through excellent phone etiquette and proactive communication efforts.

Experience

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential properties.
  • Familiarity with property management software is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Prior office experience involving data entry, filing systems, and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills combined with professional phone etiquette and customer service excellence.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
