Job Title: Community Manager – Class A Apartment Community - San Diego

Position Summary:

We are looking for a reliable, personable, and organized Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of Class A apartment community in Point Loma, San Diego . This is a lease up property management position and is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment for residents while managing the lease up of property with professionalism and care.

The position offers an hourly compensation starting at $35 per hour and includes a commission bonus structure.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: Starting at $35 per hour
Commission: Additional compensation potential based on leasing milestones
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend availability as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with current and prospective residents.
Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to move-in, including tours, applications, and lease signing.
Address resident questions, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
Oversee property presentation, cleanliness, and curb appeal through regular property walks.
Coordinate with maintenance vendors and service providers to ensure timely completion of work orders.
Monitor rent collections and assist with basic administrative and financial tasks as needed.
Enforce community rules, policies, and lease terms fairly and consistently.
Assist with marketing and outreach efforts to maintain occupancy levels.

Qualifications:

5+ years of property management or leasing experience.
Strong organizational, communication (oral and written), and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Yardi and Real Page Onsite software
Strong leasing and salesmanship skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Professional, approachable, and resident-focused attitude.
Availability to work occasional weekends as needed.
