Community Manager, Membership and Programming

You42 Studios is a first-of-its-kind entertainment campus in Roswell, GA — featuring 18 creator studios, a 300-cap theater, restaurants, bars, and event spaces designed to bring creators, entrepreneurs, and the community together. We are building more than a venue — we are building a creative ecosystem.

As our membership base grows, we are seeking a Community Manager, Membership & Programming to architect the heartbeat of our member experience.

Position Overview

The Community Manager, Membership & Programming is responsible for designing and executing a robust, high-value member programming calendar while delivering exceptional customer service across the full membership lifecycle — from onboarding to retention.

This person will serve as the connective tissue between members, studios, leadership, and programming partners — ensuring members feel supported, engaged, and part of something bigger.

This is a highly relational, operational, and creative role.

Core ResponsibilitiesMembership Experience & Onboarding

  • Own the end-to-end member journey from initial signup through renewal
  • Design and lead onboarding sessions for new members
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all membership inquiries and support
  • Maintain member database and CRM records
  • Track member engagement, satisfaction, and retention metrics
  • Proactively identify at-risk members and implement retention strategies
  • Develop welcome materials, FAQs, and membership playbooks

Programming & Community Building

  • Build and manage a dynamic, monthly programming calendar for members
  • Develop recurring series (workshops, networking nights, studio labs, pitch sessions, creator critiques, etc.)
  • Partner with internal teams and external facilitators to deliver high-value programming
  • Ensure programming aligns with member needs (content creators, entrepreneurs, creatives)
  • Create both educational and community-building experiences
  • Manage event logistics in coordination with operations team
  • Track attendance, engagement, and ROI of programs

Member Engagement & Communication

  • Develop a structured member communication cadence (newsletter, Slack/Discord, email updates)
  • Foster organic community connection between members
  • Highlight member achievements and collaborations
  • Actively solicit and implement member feedback
  • Serve as in-person host for member events

Customer Service & Operational Excellence

  • Resolve member concerns professionally and promptly
  • Coordinate with studio operations for booking conflicts or technical issues
  • Maintain documentation of processes and SOPs
  • Assist in refining membership tiers and benefits based on feedback
  • Monitor membership revenue metrics and capacity utilization

  • Experienced in hospitality, coworking, creative communities, or membership organizations
  • Able to work evenings occasionally for member programming

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years experience in community management, coworking, events, or member services
  • Proven experience building programming calendars or event series
  • Strong communication and relationship-management skills
  • Experience with CRM or membership management systems
  • Budget management experience preferred
  • Passion for creators, entrepreneurs, and creative culture

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $47,879.50 - $57,661.33 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
