Position Overview
We are seeking a Temporary Community Manager to lead leasing and operations. This role is responsible for driving lease-up performance, delivering an excellent prospect and resident experience, and establishing strong operational foundations.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Marketing
- Lead all leasing activities to achieve and exceed occupancy targets within established timelines
- Conduct property tours, manage prospect follow-up, and close leases
- Oversee and execute marketing strategies, including digital campaigns, social media, and local outreach
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to recommend pricing and concessions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing reports and traffic data
Operations & Administration
- Set up and manage leasing office operations, systems, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies
- Manage lease documentation, applications, and resident files
- Coordinate with property management software
Resident Experience
- Deliver a high-quality move-in experience for new residents
- Address resident inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Foster a sense of community through engagement initiatives and events
Team & Vendor Coordination
- Collaborate with marketing teams, construction, and ownership stakeholders
- Coordinate with maintenance and vendors to ensure readiness of units and amenities
Financial Performance
- Support rent collection efforts and ensure accurate reporting
- Track leasing metrics and provide regular performance updates
- Assist with budgeting and expense control
Qualifications
- 3+ years of property management or leasing experience, preferably in lease-up or new development
- Strong sales and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting leasing goals
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property management best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Experience with property management software (e.g., Appfolio, Yardi, or similar)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with new construction or lease-up communities
- Familiarity with local rental market conditions
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
