We are seeking a Community Manager to join our Product-Led Growth team and play a pivotal

role in shaping and scaling our user community. This role is about turning users into advocates , creating spaces for engagement, and amplifying customer voices to fuel organic adoption and retention.


Position Overview


As a Community Manager at AppliedAI, you will be the bridge between our users and our

product teams . Your mission: to build, nurture, and activate a thriving global community around

our solutions. You’ll own community programs, ambassador initiatives, events, and digital spaces (forums, Slack/Discord, social media), while feeding insights back into Product, Growth, and Marketing.


This is a high-impact role combining community building, advocacy, and engagement ,

designed to support our PLG motion by making our users the loudest champions of AppliedAI.


Key Responsibilities


Developer Community Building

  • Launch and manage developer communities (Slack, Discord, GitHub, forums).
  • Create structured programs for open-source contributors, beta testers, and technical
  • advocates.Host and support developer meetups, hackathons, and conferences.


Influencer & Evangelist Engagement

  • Build relationships with key developer influencers, content creators, and thought leaders.
  • Partner with influencers to co-create technical content (blogs, videos, streams).
  • Recruit and manage a Developer Ambassador program.


Content & Enablement

  • Produce or coordinate technical content: tutorials, sample apps, open-source
  • contributions.
  • Collaborate with PMM to publish case studies and showcase developer success stories.
  • Drive developer education through workshops, webinars, and documentation.


Feedback & Insights

  • Act as the voice of the developer community inside AppliedAI.
  • Gather feedback on SDKs, APIs, and integrations, feeding insights back into Product.
  • Track community sentiment, adoption, and developer engagement.


Qualifications


Experience:

  • 3–6 years of community management, evangelism, or advocacy experience, ideally in
  • SaaS, PLG, or tech.
  • Proven experience building and scaling user communities globally.
  • Background in customer engagement, developer relations, or advocacy programs a plus.


Skills:

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Strong empathy and ability to connect with diverse user personas.
  • Experience managing online community platforms (Slack, Discord, Discourse).
  • Comfort with data and analytics to measure engagement impact.
  • Event management (virtual and in-person) is a plus.

  • Growth of active community members and engagement rates.
  • Number of ambassadors, advocates, and user-generated assets.
  • Quality of feedback loops into Product and Growth.
  • Community-driven acquisition and retention uplift.
  • User sentiment and advocacy (NPS, referrals, testimonials).
