Community Resource Manager

Community Resource Manager | Highgate Senior Living – Billings, MT

Compensation: $32.00–$35.00 per hour

About the role

Oversee the business operations that keep our community running smoothly for residents, families, and team members.

You’ll support HR, payroll/benefits, AP/AR, systems admin, and daily office operations so our care teams can focus on residents.

What you’ll do

  • Lead daily business office operations and uphold policies and procedures
  • Support HR, onboarding, payroll and benefits administration
  • Oversee AP/AR, resident billing, deposits, and reconciliations
  • Administer community software systems and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with recruitment logistics, training coordination, and workplace safety
  • Track operational metrics and support budget/expense management
  • Partner with leaders, team members, residents, and families to resolve issues

  • Organized, detail-driven, and confidential with excellent follow-through
  • Clear written and verbal communication; relationship-builder
  • Proficient with MS Office; quick to learn new software and databases
  • Basic financial literacy across AP/AR, payroll, and benefits
  • Calm, flexible, and solutions-oriented under deadlines
  • Ability to teach, train, and work through influence

Relatable experience

  • Business office roles with increasing scope and responsibility
  • Senior living, healthcare, or hospitality operations experience
  • Hands-on work with payroll, benefits, AP/AR, or HRIS
  • Customer-facing roles balancing service with problem-solving
  • Entrepreneurial or small-business administration experience

Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age
  • 2+ years in business management/administration or a related 2-year degree
  • Acceptable combination of education and practical experience
  • Able to pass background check; current negative TB test
  • Strong time management; able to work independently and handle confidential information
