Job Description – Company Secretary
Position: Company Secretary
Location: Gurugram
Department: Legal & Secretarial
CTC: ₹8–10 LPA
Reports To: Board of Directors / Managing Director
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, and other applicable laws.
2. Maintain statutory records, registers, and filings with ROC, MCA, and regulators.
3. Organize Board/Committee/General Meetings, draft agendas, and prepare minutes.
4. Handle corporate filings, annual returns, and event-based compliances.
5. Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
6. Liaise with auditors, regulators, and government authorities.
7. Advise management on corporate governance and compliance matters.
8. Act as a point of contact for shareholders and regulatory bodies.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Qualified Company Secretary (ACS/FCS) with valid ICSI membership.
2. 4–7 years of post-qualification experience in secretarial & compliance roles.
3. Strong knowledge of Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, and allied laws.
4. Experience in retail, FMCG, or related industries preferred.
5. Excellent communication, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
6. High integrity with the ability to handle confidential information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
