Company Secretary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Company Secretary to join our compliance team. As a Company Secretary specializing in startup fundraising and legal compliance work, you will play a crucial role in advising our company and clients on various compliance matters related to fundraising activities, compliance requirements, and corporate governance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent CS or someone pursuing CS with a keen interest in corporate law and startup ecosystem to develop expertise in startup fundraising and legal compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Advise startup clients on corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder resolutions, and regulatory filings.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to fundraising transactions, including term sheets, investment agreements, shareholders' agreements, and convertible notes.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting startup fundraising and legal compliance, and communicate key developments to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, business development, and compliance, to ensure alignment of legal strategies with business objectives.
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies tailored to the needs of startup clients.
• Handle legal research, document management, and administrative tasks as assigned by senior attorneys or legal managers.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
