Company Secretary Intern

India

Roles & Responsibilities:

Duration: 7 Months

Location: Work from Home, Indian Standard Time

Internship Type: Full-time

Compliance & Statutory Filings

● Ensure review and approval of all Board meeting documents and minutes. Record keeping and updation

● Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliances are completed within specified due dates across all entities.

● Handle RBI-related filings including Annual Performance Report (APR) and Foreign Liabilities and Assets (FLA) returns.

● Maintain and update the compliance tracker for all subsidiary entities and India Entity.

● Maintain compliance documentation and filing records for Labour Law and other legal requirements.

Documentation & Record

Maintain proper documentation and secure records of certificates, registers, and legal documents.

● Manage and regularly update the asset register, including movement tracking and coordination with HR.

● Keep track of all insurance policies, certificates, and ensure renewals are actioned on time.

Contract & Agreement Management

● Review, draft, and finalize contracts and agreements.

● Collaborate with internal stakeholders for vetting and signing off on legal documents.

● Maintain a centralized client and vendor tracker for active and expired contracts

Audit & Internal Controls

● Support and coordinate internal and external audit activities including compliance documentation and reporting for ISO.

● Conduct weekly compliance related requirements to device/asset transfer across departments.

● Track and ensure annual compliance of MSME vendors, including collection and maintaining of certifications and declarations.

Client & Vendor Management

● Maintain and update the list of active clients and vendors.

● Share renewal alerts and updates with respective SPOCs on a quarterly basis.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, pursuing Company Secretary (CS) or recently completed CS (fresher)

● Basic understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements including MCA filing, RBI filings, Labour Law compliance etc.

● Familiar with contract vetting and agreement management through academic exposure and/or internships.

● Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills:

● Exposure to corporate legal processes.

● Hands-on experience with compliance or board reporting tool

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
