Compensation Manager

The Compensation Manager provides advisor compensation services for Great Valley Advisor Group(GVA).The Compensation Manager is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing GVA’s AdvisorBOB’s compensation management solution to ensure accurate data tracking, reporting, and system performance. This role is essential in supporting compensation operations through careful system setup, data integrity, and analytics. It requires a deep understanding of financial advisor compensation structures, including variable pay for planning services and assets under management (AUM). The role involves interpreting complex compensation models and applying them within our platform to ensure accurate payouts.


Essential Job Functions


System Configuration & Setup

  • Configure the AdvisorBOB solution to align with GVA’s compensation structure.
  • Set up and maintain compensation-related modules to ensure accurate and efficient tracking
  • Assist with ongoing system updates or module enhancements as needed.

Data Management & Integrity

  • Enter, audit, and maintain compensation data within the system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Partner with internal and customer-facing teams to confirm data consistency across systems.
  • Perform routine data checks and reconcile discrepancies.

Report Generation & Analytics

  • Generate compensation reports for HR, payroll, and leadership teams.
  • Leverage reporting tools to track compensation trends and identify insights.
  • Support data requests and audits with timely, accurate report delivery

Qualifications, Experience, and Education


  • Graduate or professional degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five - ten years of experience in compensation or related field.
