YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS OUR COMPENSATION SPECIALIST:

  • IncentiveCommission Calculations - collaborating with executive leaders to design incentive and commission plans for the sales, service, and parts departments as well as working with business managers to align plans with performance metrics and business goals. You'll perform accurate calculations, validate performance data, process payouts, gain manager approval before payment, and adjust incentive programs to maximize effectiveness.
  • Compensation DesignManagement - using market data and internal equity practices to develop competitive salary structures for all positions. This includes performing market analysis and administering compensation policies and documentation.
  • Financial Compliance - maintaining detailed financial documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting with internal and external payroll and compensation audits.
  • AnalyticsReporting - supporting budgeting and compensation planning processes by analyzing industry trends, preparing financial reports for leadership, and making strategic recommendations to HR.
  • Payroll Processing - answering payroll-related questions, resolving incentive calculation issues, supporting timely payroll processing, and maintaining up-to-date pay and deduction information.

If you're interested in becoming our Compensation Specialist, you'll need the following:

  • Experience in compensation management, preferably in a dealership or retail environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines, and follow tasks through to completion
  • Ability to work independently
  • Physical ability to sit for extended periods and regularly use a computer and phone
  • General accounting knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Close attention to detail
