About This Opportunity

The Compliance Analyst will support Finance leadership in overseeing compliance activities within the Target India Corporate Finance team. The role involves managing end-to-end STPI and SEZ requirements, including unit setup, ongoing operations, and exit, in close coordination with internal stakeholders and external business partners. The Analyst will ensure alignment with organizational policies, best practices, applicable laws, and statutory regulations. Additionally, the role is responsible for developing and maintaining a framework for continuous risk evaluation, as well as periodically reviewing and updating policies and procedures to strengthen compliance governance within Target India Finance

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledge on STPI, SEZ, FTP, Customs Act, GST and EOU.
  • Knowledge on Duty free Import and Exprot Regulation
  • Knowledge on LOP, LUT, IEC, Green Card and Status Certificate etc
  • Knowledge of Product classification, HSN, Inco terms
  • Manage applications, approvals and tracking for all shipment clearance
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all compliance-related activities while ensuring meticulous documentation and record-keeping.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and prepare required regulatory reports while staying current with changes in STPI/SEZ regulations
  • Serve as primary liaison with government authorities including STPI, SEZ, and Customs officials
  • Work with the legal and external teams towards implementation and compliance with new regulatory changes applicable for Target India Finance
  • Manage GRC tool. Key tasks would include the review of compliance with Corp Finance
  • Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act 2000.
  • Partnering with the FAR team, HR and legal teams to meet all reporting requirements
  • Assist team members in compliance with the Information Protection Policies and data management of the company.
  • Prepare compliance dashboard for the leadership to provide and update on Operational and Compliance status

REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Reports to Sr Manager Finance Compliance
  • Works closely with the finance pyramid team members and other key clients

JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • College degree in accounting, CS will be an advantage.
  • Relevant Experience with 4+ years of work experience from IT /ITES reputed firms
  • Preferably having knowledge of indirect taxation/ STPI & SEZ/ HR Laws knowledge / FEMA,
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge in basic accounting systems
