BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
- PERFORM AML CHECKS AND ONGOING TRANSACTION MONITORING.
- MANAGE AND RESOLVE AML-RELATED INQUIRIES PROMPTLY.
- COMPLETE CLIENT DUE DILIGENCE SEARCHES WITH IDENTIFYING AND VERIFYING CLIENT'S IDENTITY (INCLUDING DATA COLLECTION, IDENTIFICATION, VERIFICATION, POLITICALLY EXPOSED PERSON/SANCTIONS LIST CHECK)
- RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFICATION OF CLIENT DATA TO BE ADDED TO THE INTERNAL SYSTEMS TO BE IN LINE WITH CLIENT DOCUMENTATION.
- COMPLETING AD HOC COMPLIANCE TASKS AS REQUIRED.
- MONITOR TRANSACTIONS AND CLIENT BEHAVIOR FOR UNUSUAL OR SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY AND RAISE APPROPRIATE ESCALATIONS.
- WORK WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS TO RESOLVE DOCUMENTATION OR COMPLIANCE-RELATED QUERIES.
- MANAGE THE COMPLIANCE SUPPORT INBOX AND RESPOND TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS IN A TIMELY MANNER.
- SUPPORT THE HEAD OF COMPLIANCE WITH INTERNAL REVIEWS, AUDITS, AND REGULATORY REPORTING WHERE REQUIRED.
- DESIGN AND DELIVER AML TRAINING SESSIONS.
- PRIORITIZE CLEARING PENDING ALERTS FOR TIMELY CLOSURE.
- MAINTAIN DOCUMENTATION, LOGS, AND TRACKERS FOR AUDIT AND COMPLIANCE PURPOSES.
- ENSURE ADHERENCE TO SLA TIMELINES AND COMPLIANCE PROTOCOLS.
- WILLINGNESS TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 1 - 2 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN A REGULATED FINANCIAL INSTITUTION IN A COMPLIANCE OR COMPLIANCE-RELATED ROLE, PREFERABLY WITHIN INSURANCE BROKER.
- KNOWLEDGE OF CBUAE REGULATORY FRAMEWORKS, INCLUDING AML/CFT GUIDELINES AND RELEVANT LEGISLATION.
- STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL, CRITICAL THINKING, AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
- SELF-MOTIVATED AND ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY IN A FAST-PACED, COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT.
- PROBLEM-SOLVING ATTITUDE.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS OR EQUIVALENT
- 1+ YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN A REGULATED FINANCIAL INSTITUTION IN A COMPLIANCE OR COMPLIANCE-RELATED ROLE.
- BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, FINANCE, ACCOUNTING OR OPERATIONS.
- CAMS – AN ADVANTAGE / AML COMPLIANCE RELATED CERTIFICATION.
