Job Description:
We are looking for a Compliance and Legal Manager to lead our legal and compliance efforts. This role ensures the company operates within the law, manages legal risks, and fosters a culture of compliance and ethical business practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and policies.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to local property and corporate laws.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Advise management on legal risks, regulations, and corporate governance.
- Handle complaints, disputes, and legal issues professionally.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.
- Train staff on compliance and legal best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of legal matters, compliance reports, and regulatory submissions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably in real estate.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, property, and regulatory law.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
