Compliance Attorney

Seeking experienced Attorney as internal compliance counsel for Nassau County creditor's rights law firm. Responsibilities include: analyzing firm's procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements (FDCPA, FCRA, FBCA, NY ID Theft statute) and clients' standards; resolving disputes; drafting correspondence; as well as supervising and possible training of attorneys, paralegals and non-legal staff.

Qualifications:

• Current NY Bar Admission REQUIRED (NJ a plus);
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Spanish-speaking a plus.
