The Compliance Team

Our compliance team believes merchant payments should be ultra-safe and secure. That's why they work hand-in-hand with regulators throughout the region. With the key purpose of creating a safe transaction environment for our global merchants and if you share similar beliefs, this might be the team for you.

As a Tapster you will:

• Assist with the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures

• Conduct regular compliance monitoring and risk assessments
• Review and update compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and manuals
• Prepare reports on compliance-related activities
• Respond to compliance-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders
• Assist with regulatory reporting requirements
• Assist with compliance training for staff
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate compliance risks, including tasks related to the Anti-Money Laundering & Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML&CFT)
• Carry out other duties, as assigned based on the demands of the business and growth of the role
• Additionally, collaborate with the Board Secretary to support administrative tasks and ensure regulatory compliance and good corporate governance practices across organisational functions

What you will bring to the party:

• 1-2 years of role-specific experience in Financial Services/Fintech/High-Growth Startups
• Preferred degree, but real-world experience is also accepted.
• Ability to establish credibility and internal relationships
• Understanding of client/merchant/stakeholder care
• Awareness of how your role supports the business
• Enthusiasm for working in a growing fintech
• Ability to work in a team and follow daily tasks
• Skills and knowledge to actively participate in meetings
• Ability to deliver work on time
• Problem-solving and quick-thinking skills
• Ability to organize information and ask relevant questions
• Strong communication skills in English, with a preference for Arabic language ability
