Job Description:

We’re looking for a Financial Services Compliance Attorney to join the Axiom team supporting a client. This role is focused on AML / KYC client onboarding and compliance operations within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support client onboarding processes, including AML and KYC reviews and related due diligence.
• Draft, review, and manage NDAs, fund documents, and other compliance-related agreements.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
• Maintain and update compliance documentation and records for both new and existing clients.
• Work efficiently in a high-volume environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• JD with experience in AML / KYC and financial services compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle a fast-moving, high-volume workload.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently while remaining collaborative within a team setting.
• High attention to detail and the ability to pivot quickly when priorities shift.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior in-house experience in asset management, private credit, or capital markets.
• Familiarity with fund formation and client onboarding processes.
• Experience working with financial institutions is a plus.

Compensation, Benefits & Location:

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $155,000, and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401k, and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
