Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to oversee and manage all compliance functions in alignment with CBUAE (Central Bank of UAE) regulations. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of AML/CFT practices, insurance operations, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance frameworks are robust, employees are well-trained, and all activities are conducted within UAE regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and internal control frameworks aligned with CBUAE regulations.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and ensure timely adjustments to internal procedures.
  • Lead AML/KYC and CFT processes, including client onboarding, due diligence, transaction monitoring, and reporting.
  • Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and other compliance reports to regulators.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits and risk assessments to evaluate compliance effectiveness.
  • Ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings, license renewals, and statutory submissions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with regulators during inspections, audits, and inquiries.
  • Provide compliance training and awareness programs for all employees across departments.
  • Advise management on compliance implications of new products, services, and business strategies.
  • Investigate compliance breaches, document findings, and recommend corrective action.
  • Ensure strict adherence to data protection and confidentiality laws.
  • Maintain compliance risk registers and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support internal/external auditors and regulatory inspections with required documentation.
  • Foster a strong compliance culture throughout the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field; AML certification preferred.
  • 5–7 years’ proven experience in compliance, preferably within UAE financial services or insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of CBUAE guidelines, AML/CFT laws, and insurance operations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
