Compliance Manager

Description:

McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead the Compliance Department for the firm. The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the firm is conducting its business in full compliance of with all federal laws and client regulations, including regulations this will involve the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures and best practices within the industry. Compliance Managers apply and interpret audit and compliance requirements for various departments.

Requirements:

• Review and input into the development of relevant policies and procedure.
• Assessing the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
• Reviewing policy and development.
• Day-to-day management of our compliance system.
• Reviewing regulatory change after implementation.
• Conducting internal reviews and audits.
• Advising internal management and business partners on the implementation of compliance programs.
• Reviewing marketing materials for compliance with legal requirements.
• Providing advice and leadership in relation to compliance issues that arise.
• Following up on compliance issues that require investigation.
• Evaluating compliance systems and ensuring adequate processes and procedures are in place.
• Reporting on compliance.
• Closely collaborating with HR departments to monitor enforcement of compliance regulations.
• Training cross functional teams on compliance requirements.

Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance management, preferably in a legal or default services setting.
• Strong understanding of client compliance requirements and processes.
• Preferably familiar with client and case management systems including Case Aware, Black Knight, and Tempo.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
• Demonstrates a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Capable of effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
• Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
