Compliance Manager

Key Responsibilities

ID Verification, KYC and Trade Sanctions Compliance

• Oversee identity verification processes and document authentication workflows
• Coordinate with third-party verification partners and payment processors
• Manage Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements
• Work with Turing's People Ops team to establish worker eligibility criteria and oversee background check processes across different jurisdictions

Trust & Safety Operations

• Develop and implement trust & safety policies to protect against risk, fraud, misinformation, and harmful content
• Manage platform community guidelines and develop policies for account suspension, deactivation, and appeals processes, working with cross-functional teams to manage escalations
• Handle escalations related to worker misconduct and platform abuse
• Monitor and manage privacy and data deletion requests in compliance with applicable privacy regulations
• Ensure system of record completeness and accuracy for compliance documentation and audit trails
• Serve as policy expert for product and legal departments on trust & safety issues

• Work with IT team to implement IP address monitoring and location verification systems
• Ensure compliance with geographic working restrictions and location-based requirements

Preferred Experience

• Industry Experience: Background in trust & safety, platform compliance, or security operations
• Tech Company Background: Experience working at technology companies or with automated compliance monitoring and AI/ML platforms
