Compliance Officer

Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

  • Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
  • Monitoring and reporting results of the compliance/ethics efforts of the company and in providing guidance for the Board and senior management team on matters relating to compliance.
  • Ensure the Compliance function by developing and implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines as part of an overall Compliance Management System in alignment with the company's vision and corporate strategy.
  • Respond to violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Standards of Conduct by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures.
  • Track when documents should be reviewed for updating or aligning if other departments are involved.
  • Lead the process for continual identification and assessment of compliance risks across the company and the development and implementation of appropriate action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar future situations.
  • Ensure that all management and employees are following the applicable standards (internal and external) and periodically providing guidance.
  • Develop periodically review and update Standards of providing guidance to management and employees.
  • Provide reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the Company Compliance Committee of the Board and senior management informed of the operation of compliance efforts.
  • Ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate and/or required.
  • Collaborate with all other departments (Management Office, Brands and Operation, Shared Services department etc.) to direct compliance issues for investigation and resolution.
  • Work with the Human Resources Department and others as appropriate to develop an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers.
  • Analyst and revise the authority matrix across the department with standardize mothed.
  • Monitor the performance of the Compliance Program and relate activities on a continuing basis and maintain effectiveness.
  • Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing regulations; recommending new procedures; complying with legal requirements.
  • Protect assets by establishing compliance standards; anticipating emerging compliance trends; designing improvements to internal control structure.
