Compliance Officer

About the Role:

At CoinTR, we are committed to building a secure, transparent, and fully compliant digital asset ecosystem. We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to strengthen our regulatory compliance operations and ensure full adherence to both local and international standards.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring compliance procedures, supporting internal audits, and ensuring that CoinTR’s operations comply with MASAK, SPK, and other relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure company compliance with MASAK, SPK, and other applicable financial and crypto asset regulations.
• Oversee and review Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to the Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR) process through data analysis and case evaluation.
• Review and improve internal procedures, risk assessments, and control mechanisms on a regular basis.
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing and maintaining required documentation.
• Monitor new regulations, assess their impact, and assist in updating company policies accordingly.
• Promote compliance awareness across teams and support internal compliance training initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management within financial services, banking, fintech, or crypto industries.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC, KYB, and other relevant MASAK regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is preferred.
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
