Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Supports the mission of the Chickasaw Nation upon becoming a member of the Chickasaw Nation team and embrace the lives of the Chickasaw people in all that we do
- Subscribes to and commit to the mission statement and core values of the Chickasaw Nation. Must also embrace the principle of tribal sovereignty and understand how it relates to interactions with local, state, and federal governments

- Interacts appropriately with federal, state, and local agencies to obtain information and/or assistance in accomplishing assignments
- Prepare and maintain Court documents and case files
- Ensures evidence is submitted to the crime lab for analysis
- Monitor defendants ordered by the court to ensure compliance with court-ordered obligations, such as payments, probation conditions, mandated classes, or community service
- Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information
- Conducts interviews with defendants to clarify court orders, expectations, and consequences of non-compliance
- Communicates regularly with judges, case managers, attorneys, and law enforcement staff regarding individual compliance status
- Prepares detailed reports and updates for court hearings, including violations or progress toward compliance
- Recommends appropriate actions for non-compliant individuals, including warrants, sanctions, or additional court proceedings
- Assists in developing and improving court compliance processes and procedures
- Attends court sessions and provide testimony as needed regarding compliance cases
- Utilizes the Protocol and Style Manual when preparing written and email correspondences
- Must complete training as a requirement to maintain employment
- Ensures convicted sex offenders are registered and consistently maintain compliance with Tribal, State and Federal registration laws
- Ensures all the information has been collected and entered into the tribe’s registry and the required federal databases
- Conducts periodic screening for drug and alcohol use by offenders
- Conducts interviews and unannounced compliance checks on registered sex offenders, and those on pre-trial and post-conviction supervision, at home visits, employment visits, school visits, and other collateral contacts
- Prepares and submit affidavits for arrests to Chickasaw Nation Prosecutors and testify in tribal, state, or federal courts
- Maintains physical and electronic documentation relating to the offender caseload management
- Conducts various investigations, including, but not limited to, pre-sentence, interstate, pre-pardon and pre-parole
- Submits prepared reports to the appropriate agency or organizational unit
- Obtains information by thorough questioning of individuals, searching records, and the use of other means to locate and apprehend suspected offender violators.

- Must have completed an introductory police officer certification course equivalent to the requirements set by the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).
- Must continuously be able to pass a complete background investigation and maintain a Bureau of Indian Affairs commission upon assignment.
