Key Responsibilities1. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws such as:
- Shops & Establishment Act
- PF, ESI, PT, LWF
- Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, and Maternity Benefit Act
- Handle registrations, renewals, and amendments for statutory licenses.
- Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and returns as per state and central regulations.
2. Audits & Documentation
- Prepare and manage compliance audit documents (internal & external).
- Coordinate with auditors and government inspectors during inspections.
- Maintain organized records—PF, ESI challans, muster rolls, wage registers, leave records, etc.
3. HR Policy Compliance
- Ensure implementation of HR policies across departments.
- Monitor adherence to company code of conduct, POSH guidelines, and grievance procedures.
- Identify gaps in compliance and recommend corrective actions.
4. Vendor & Contractor Compliance
- Verify contractor compliance (PF, ESI, wage sheets, agreements).
- Track vendor documentation and ensure their adherence to statutory norms.
5. Reporting & Monitoring
- Generate monthly compliance reports for HR leadership.
- Track deadlines for statutory payments, filings, and renewals.
- Maintain compliance dashboards and audit trackers.
Required Qualifications & SkillsEducational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration/MSW
- PG Diploma or certification in Labor Laws / Compliance (preferred).
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in HR compliance, statutory compliance, or payroll compliance.
- Experience with Karnataka labor laws is an added advantage.
- Kannada is mandatory
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of HRMS or payroll software.
- Familiarity with PF/ESI portals, Shram Suvidha, and state labor portals.
