Little Debbie’s Second Chance Home is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compliance & Quality Assurance Manager to help ensure our residential programs operate at the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
This position plays a critical leadership role in protecting the integrity of our organization by monitoring compliance across youth services, personnel records, incident reporting, licensing requirements, facility operations, transportation, and overall agency performance.

What You’ll Do
Compliance & Quality Assurance
● Conduct routine audits of youth files, personnel records, and program documentation.
● Ensure compliance with DCF, licensing, Medicaid, accreditation, and agency requirements.
● Monitor corrective action plans and compliance initiatives.
● Prepare for licensing reviews, audits, and monitoring visits.
● Maintain compliance tracking systems and reports.
Incident Management
● Investigate incidents occurring within agency programs.
● Complete and submit required incident reports.
● Track trends and identify areas requiring corrective action.
● Ensure timely follow-up and documentation of incidents.
Residential Program Oversight
● Monitor compliance within At-Risk and residential treatment programs.
● Conduct routine inspections of agency homes and facilities.
● Verify required documentation is maintained and updated.
● Assist with maintaining audit-ready files and records.
Human Resources Compliance
● Audit employee files for required documentation.
● Monitor background screenings, fingerprints, certifications, and training requirements.
● Track expiration dates and renewal deadlines.
● Ensure personnel records remain compliant with regulatory standards.
Facility, Vehicle & Safety Compliance
● Monitor vehicle maintenance, insurance, registrations, and driver files.
● Conduct facility safety inspections.
● Ensure emergency preparedness documentation remains current.
● Monitor environmental and operational compliance standards.
Training & Support
● Provide guidance to staff regarding compliance requirements.
● Assist leadership with policy implementation and quality improvement initiatives.
● Support a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications Required
● Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
● Minimum of three (3) years of experience in compliance, quality assurance, residential care, child welfare, behavioral health, healthcare, or a related field.
● Strong organizational and investigative skills.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred
● Experience with DCF, group homes, residential treatment, BQRTP, foster care, behavioral health, or Medicaid-funded programs.
● Experience preparing organizations for audits, licensing reviews, and regulatory inspections.
● Knowledge of child welfare and residential care regulations.
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
