The Compliance Support Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of DOT Compliance Group’s compliance services team. This position ensures regulatory accuracy, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service delivery across specialized compliance functions.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations across specialized compliance teams (e.g., Clearinghouse, Drug & Alcohol Testing, Biennial Updates, FMCSA Liaison).
- Monitor team performance against KPIs such as documentation accuracy, resolution time, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to DOT, FMCSA, and other regulatory requirements through quality control and oversight.
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex customer or compliance issues, resolving them with professionalism and discretion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments (e.g., IT, Sales, Legal) to resolve operational challenges and improve service delivery.
- Support onboarding, training, and continuous development of team members to maintain regulatory expertise and operational excellence.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance submissions, team activity, and customer interactions using internal systems.
- Assist in audit preparation, reporting, and documentation for internal leadership and external regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to workforce planning, including scheduling, task delegation, and workload balancing.
- Participate in strategic planning and departmental goal setting with Operations leadership.
- Prepare for future leadership responsibilities, including potential oversight of supervisors and expanded team structures.
- Perform responsibilities in alignment with DOT Compliance Group’s mission and core values.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years supervising a team of compliance or customer service staff. Experience managing cross-functional teams or projects is a plus.
- Internal applicants: 12+ months successful demonstration of current position responsibilities, approval from current manager, and a relevant combination of education and experience.
