Component Specialist - Blade Material Engineer

Your Tasks:

Blade colleague shall be responsible for validation of material specifications impacting blade reliability and performance. Liaise with core engineering & other functions to develop test plan as needed for various blade commodities. Liaison with subject material experts for evaluation of new or alternative blade materials.

Support of material implementation and material topics in Indian blade factories and connection with interdisciplinary blade functions. Project management for the tracking, reporting and following up of several blade material topics.

• Resource & plan for priority material developments and homologation needs
• Setup internal/external test plan for validation
• Align with material design subject matter experts for finalization of test requirements
• Manage test lab in India along with the test technicians
• Test material design specification interface with process parameters

Your Profile:

• Bachelor of Eng./ Mechanical/Composite/Polymer Engineering
• 10-15 year experience in similar role
• Experience in Blade component or Composite is preferred
