Components Designer

As a Components Designer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of construction by creating detailed plans for prefabricated wood products. You'll transform customer blueprints into production-ready drawings, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every project. $22 - $30 hourly

Key responsibilities include ensuring designs meet company standards, accurately reflecting blueprints, and communicating with production teams, customers, and sales staff to guarantee project accuracy. The role requires a strong understanding of construction, basic math, geometry, trigonometry, and the ability to read architectural and structural plans.

• Construction knowledge: A strong understanding of basic construction principles.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in reading architectural and structural plans.
• Math and geometry: Competency in basic mathematics, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Software: Experience with Alpine truss software is a plus.
• Problem-solving: Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve design problems.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
