Job Title: Computational Engineer – Finance & Operations Modeling

Location: Lahore, Pakistan

FNEL is looking for a Computational Engineer to drive advanced modeling, simulations, and optimization for financial, operational, and investment projects. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, finance, and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Build mathematical and computational models for financial, investment, and operational scenarios.
• Conduct simulations and predictive analyses to guide capital allocation, risk management, and process optimization.
• Collaborate with finance teams to provide quantitative insights for strategic decisions.
• Develop custom tools and scripts to automate calculations, simulations, and reporting.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and performance opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computational Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Data Science, or related field. Master’s/PhD is a plus.
• 3–8 years of experience in modeling, simulations, quantitative analysis, or algorithm development. Finance/operations experience preferred.
• Strong programming: Python, C++, MATLAB, R, or similar.
• Knowledge of numerical methods, simulations, optimization algorithms, and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
