HOD (Computer Science) – Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi

We are seeking a qualified Head of Department (HOD) to lead our Computer Science department at an educational institution in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. This full-time, on-site position involves managing curriculum and academic operations, mentoring faculty, and maintaining high teaching standards in the field of Computer Science. Responsibilities include academic leadership, planning and coordination of instructional content, faculty development, and acting as a bridge among faculty, students, and school management. We are seeking an innovative educator with a Master’s degree in Computer Science and proven experience in leadership, curriculum design, and educational technology.

Responsibilities

• Academic Leadership and Planning: Lead the academic vision and direction for the Computer Science department. Oversee curriculum planning and update instructional content aligned with emerging technologies.
• Curriculum and Lesson Oversight: Manage curriculum design, lesson planning, and assessment strategies. Ensure quality assurance measures are implemented to uphold academic standards and encourage continuous improvement.
• Faculty–Student–Management Liaison: Serve as the primary communication link among Computer Science faculty, students, and administration. Promote collaboration and efficient scheduling across all stakeholders.
• Monitor Teaching and Student Progress: Evaluate classroom instruction and analyze student performance data. Recommend interventions or enhancements to improve both teaching outcomes and student success.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science (or a closely related field).
• Experience: Extensive teaching and leadership experience in a school or academic institution.
• Skills: Strong leadership, technological proficiency, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Additional Qualifications: Familiarity with coding platforms, computer science pedagogy, and digital learning tools is preferred.

This position is full-time and based on-site in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. Remote work is not available for this role. Applicants must be authorized to work in Pakistan to be considered.
