Job Description: Computer Teacher (CBSE School)

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Computer Teacher to join our CBSE-affiliated school. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop digital literacy, computational thinking, and practical skills in information technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Curriculum Delivery
• Plan and deliver engaging computer science lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum.
• Teach topics such as MS Office, programming (Python/Java), web design, and digital tools.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and practical exercises to enhance student learning.
• Lab & Practical Management
• Supervise computer lab sessions and ensure proper functioning of hardware/software.
• Guide students in hands-on projects, coding exercises, and digital presentations.
• Assessment & Reporting
• Conduct tests, evaluate assignments, and maintain student performance records.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Skill Development
• Encourage students to explore emerging technologies like AI, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
• Promote safe and responsible use of the internet and digital tools.
• Collaboration
• Work with other faculty to integrate technology into cross-disciplinary projects.
• Participate in school events, workshops, and training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• B.Ed. qualification preferred (as per CBSE norms).
• Prior teaching experience in CBSE schools is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, and educational software.
