Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Computer Teacher to educate students from Grade 1 to Grade 10 in computer literacy, digital skills, and basic to intermediate programming concepts. The ideal candidate will create engaging lesson plans, integrate technology into learning, and foster a positive digital environment.

Key Responsibilities:For Primary Classes (Grades 1–5):

• Introduce students to basic computer concepts (hardware, software, input/output devices).
• Teach typing skills and basic word processing (MS Word, Paint, etc.).
• Use educational software to develop problem-solving and logical thinking.
• Ensure safe use of the internet and promote digital responsibility.

For Middle School (Grades 6–8):

• Teach office productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Introduce basic programming concepts (Scratch, HTML, or block coding).
• Guide students on responsible internet usage and cyber safety.
• Encourage project-based learning and basic research skills using technology.

For High School (Grades 9–10):

• Teach foundational programming languages (Python, Java, or HTML/CSS).
• Guide students in developing websites, apps, or digital presentations.
• Introduce concepts like databases, algorithms, and digital ethics.
• Prepare students for board examinations (if applicable) and practical assessments.

General Duties:

• Develop and implement lesson plans based on curriculum requirements.
• Maintain and update computer lab equipment and software.
• Assess and evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Encourage creativity and innovation through hands-on activities.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate technology in other subjects.
• Maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
• Stay updated with current trends in educational technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Education (B.Ed preferred).
• Certification or training in computer education or technology integration is an advantage.
• Previous teaching experience, especially with children or adolescents, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of basic programming and educational software tools.

Skills Required:

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patience and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and levels.
• Familiarity with online learning tools and platforms.
