Computers/TV installer with dr. license (preferable DSLR camera knowledge)

The company renting digital and IT equipment is hiring for a position of Computer, TV and IT equipment installer with driving license.

Job Purpose: Responsible for installation of basic IT equipment and sometimes for running software for Clients (after training), mostly on Clients events (conferences etc) at high professional standards to deliver an excellent Customer Experience.

Basic IT equipment, among other, include DSLR cameras (Canon, Nikon) and GoPro cameras, that's why potential candidate should have knowledge of DSLR Camera settings. Other equipment to be installed include: screens, TVs, printers, touch tables, laptops, digital kiosks etc

Must have some computer knowledge how to connect networks, use different softwares, change settings as guided etc.

The Potential candidate must be available on weekends and evenings from time to time, due to some installations happening on late evening.

Responsibilities:

• Driving from storage\office to Client's location for installation.
• Installing and setting up equipment correctly with the help of an assistant when required. Equipment may include screens, touch table, camera, printer, etc.
• To operate equipment correctly at Cient's location, as per training provided. To cooperate positively with Client representative at site and with Clients guests when required.
• To present company during rental time at Client's location, to build good ambiance and to get a positive feedback from Client.
• Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise. Communicate them to management and support for investigation. If possible, to fix on the spot.
• Tearing down equipment by the end of an event, with help an assistant when required, and loading equipment back to a vehicle (van \ light vehicle).
• Driving back to the storage\office and arrange back the equipment to their location.

• Hands-on, practical person who can take instruction easily.
• Self-reliant person who can operate independently, work on his/her own initiative but is also a good team player.
• Well presentable person clean and tidy in appearance.
• Approachable person with a good manner and good customer service ethos.

Hard skills requirements:

• Driving license UAE Light vehicle.
• PC (OS Windows) knowledge as upper-intermediate user.
• Can handle weights if assistant is not available.

Job Type: All days flexible time 2 years contract
