COMSEC/Lab Manager

Overview:

COMSEC/Lab Manager (H40-2026-25528)

Bowhead seeks a COMSEC/Lab Manager to support a newly awarded contract in Dahlgren, VA. This contract will provide configuration management (CM), logistics, mechanical and electrical engineering technician services, field service support, project management, drafting and design, technical writing, and acquisition services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Unmanned & Expeditionary Weapon Systems (H40) Division and Intelligent Automation (H60) Division.

Responsibilities:

Job Duties to include but are not limited to:

• COMSEC Governance: Serve as Local Element (LE) for Electronic Key Management System (EKMS)/COMSEC assets
• Fiscal Planning: Execute complex cost analysis and long-range fiscal planning to align annual work
  plans with government strategic goals.
• Technical Integration: Experience with configure and troubleshoot MQ-8 equipment using engineering drawings;
  maintain lab connectivity diagrams to ensure configuration control.
• Security Oversight: Manage critical security documentation, including EKMS/CCI inventories, while
  coordinating with NSWC Dahlgren Information Assurance (IA) for inspections.

Qualifications:

• Associates (or higher) in business or related degree AND five (3) years professional experience which includes two (2) years specialized experience in analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals, requirements, and objectives.
• Experience with CMS-1 required;
• Experience with MQ-8 Fire Scout and Battle Management Systems (BMS) desired
• Security Plus Certification highly desired
• Proficiency in the utilization of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
