Concept Designer

A Concept Designer visualizes and develops early ideas into tangible designs for products, games, films, or environments, focusing on high-level look, feel, and function, using skills in digital art, problem-solving, and trend analysis to create storyboards, characters, objects, or settings, and collaborating with various teams to bring concepts to life, bridging creative vision with feasibility. Key Responsibilities:

• Ideation & Visualization: Create detailed sketches, renderings, and storyboards to represent ideas, characters, environments, or product features, working from broad concepts to specific details.
• Research & Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, materials, and market needs to inform design direction.
• Collaboration: Work closely with creative directors, producers, developers, and marketing teams to align concepts with project goals.
• Problem-Solving: Develop and present multiple design alternatives, demonstrating adaptability and a strong understanding of context.
• Technical Detailing: Create specification sheets, define dimensions, and ensure designs are practical for production or development.
• Feedback Integration: Proactively incorporate feedback and iterate on designs throughout the production cycle.

Typical Duties (Industry-Specific Examples):

• Gaming/Film: Design characters, creatures, props, vehicles, and environments; create key art and visual development pieces.
• Product/Apparel: Translate seasonal themes into product ideas, develop color/material toolkits, and support print/pattern design.

Core Skills:

• Strong artistic and digital illustration skills (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate).
• Understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Strong analytical instincts and creative thinking.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
