Job Overview

Duties

• Finish concrete surfaces with precision using hand tools, power tools, and specialized techniques to ensure smoothness, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
• Assist in landscape installation tasks such as rebar installation, hardscape setup, and planting to create beautiful outdoor environments.
• Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, mixers, and concrete pumps safely and efficiently to support construction activities.
• Drive company vehicles for material delivery, equipment transport, or crew transportation while adhering to all safety regulations.
• Support framing carpentry, metal stud framing, masonry work, stucco application, roofing prep, and other renovation tasks as needed.
• Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute construction plans; interpret technical drawings for concrete forming or restoration projects.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as rebar, concrete bags, or landscaping supplies; maintain site cleanliness and organization throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and landscape installation is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools safely; certification in heavy equipment operation is a plus.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic construction estimating enhances your effectiveness on the job.
• Hands-on experience with rebar installation, masonry work including tile laying or flooring installation adds value to your skill set.
• Knowledge of various construction disciplines such as carpentry (trim carpentry), plastering, welding, roofing or restoration work is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving certification preferred; experience driving large trucks or service vehicles is beneficial.
